Our client had recently undergone a business merger, posing a challenge for their reporting process. They needed to automate and visualize project business metrics from two different ERP systems in an easily understandable format.
The goal was to create a comprehensive reporting solution using Microsoft Power BI, allowing users to track the overall project status through a single interface. However, the diverse practices in the reporting of the previously separate companies required alignment before achieving reliable reporting on the merged company's project business. The new reports would save time spent on manual Excel consolidations and facilitate the adoption of shared operating models.
